Webmaster’s Note: Do you ever wonder why things happen and what the purpose is for those things? Do you ever wonder how anything good can come out of your circumstances? Read on, dear reader!
“But we do know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to purpose. Because whom he has foreknown, he has also predestinated [to be] conformed to the image of his Son, so that he should be [the] firstborn among many brethren.” (Rom. 8: 28,29).
“We Know”
‘All things for good’ – O blessed consolation!
‘Tis God who speaks and bids my soul ‘Be still.’
Midst scenes of danger, wrath and man’s confusion,
‘All things’ are working out His sovereign will.
‘All things for good’ – when all things seem against me;
Dark clouds the vision fill and cause dismay.
Fear not, my soul, O see the bow appearing,
A faithful God will turn my night to day.
‘All things for good’ – O weary heart, this weakness,
The nights of weeping, weariness and pain
Are working out God’s purpose and His pleasure,
Made like His Son, conformed, O blessed gain!
‘All things for good’ – Then leave entirely with Him
The path thou canst not see, to Him well known.
Heaven’s vast supplies of grace will never fail thee
For Jesus lives, to succour, on the throne.
